Castlevania is my most recent obsession, and that leads not only to fanfiction, but also to Fan Art.
This page is devoted to my general Castlevania fan-art.
I also encourage you to check out my
Alternate Illustrations for Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

One of my first pieces of Castlevania Fan-Art, a "poster" for Symphony of the Night. India Ink on Bristol Board. I was trying to imply as much as I could without actually drawing the lines.
| At left, A Boy and his Bat, sketched with a ball-point pen. At right, the Demon Familiar from Symphony of the Night (and the narrator of The Demon's Tale). The picture may look a little odd because it was "drawn" with watercolors, squeezed directly from the tube. |

At left, Alucard, modern interpretation, on a bright, sunny day. At right, Maria. |

Below, the first non-SOTN thing to appear here, and the first major snag I hit while trying to play Castlevania II. (Yes, I know, all the merchants are probably hiding from Dracula, but that's not funny.)
At right are color sketches of Maria, in which I was trying to find the technique for the color illustrations I did for Symphony of the Night. The larger sketch was the process I went with, and you can see the results in my Alternate Illustrations for Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
Below is a charcoal sketch of Alucard, again a more modern interpretation of his attire.
Below left, Alucard with short hair. Still gorgeous.
Below right, a sketch of Richter from Symphony of the Night

At left, another sketch of Maria. Don't ask about the floating blobs. You might want to know, but I don't want to tell you. |
