Long after the game's heyday, I finally bought a Playstation, and immediately became hooked on Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. I played nothing else for, I think, about eight months. It was one of my soulbonding/fan-fiction writing/fan-art creating obsessions, and quite an enjoyable one that allowed me to explore some more "gothic" areas of my personality that were always there, but never so well accepted. The fan-fiction and fan-art that has resulted are collected here, and I still consider it among my best work, even now that the furor has long past.
Unfortunately, it was only some time after this obsession and its attendant fan-fiction began that I found the original canonical Castlevania timeline. And when I did, I found that I had already pretty much trashed it. (If you're so inclined, you can read an extensive ramble on this subject, which is here... essentially because I just felt like posting it. It also serves as a "statement of canon" for my fanfiction, in case that interests you.) Oh, well. The world would be boring if everyone did the same thing, right? I declared that I liked my version best and just kept on about it.
And this page is devoted to the results, so grab your whip and your rosary and enjoy!
If you dare...!
Sorry, had to try to get with the whole gothic mood just a little. You understand...
