You may or may not have guessed that my vote for "best anime series of all time" goes to Rurouni Kenshin, but I'm sure you already have guessed that my favorite character therein is Seta Soujiro (Don't get me wrong, Kenshin's great, but Soujiro's my favorite). I actually spent most of his tenure on the show somewhat fascinated but not especially involved, but then I saw episodes 55 and 56 in one evening---that evening, I brought Sou-chan home with me and despite the odd vacation/wanderings, he still lives here to this day. (If you want to know more about what I mean by this, check below under "What Soujiro Means to Me".)

The one trouble with liking Soujiro so much is that, while I wouldn't really call him a minor character, he was minor enough that when this obsession began for me (about four years ago, wow!), I had trouble finding much Stuff. Since then, I have discovered a solely-Soujiro poster (which I have) and a keychain (which seems to be terribly elusive), but I don't have much chance of finding a Soujiro garage kit, or a Soujiro UFO doll (or better yet a Volks doll, but now I'm just dreaming... Although Himura-san got one. I have it, too).

But as an artist, it didn't take me long to compensate for that lack with my own profusion of mental/artistic/virtual Stuff, and that's what this site is about! Now, I have yet to get off my butt and learn to play with Multimedia, and I don't like to post official material directly or do things that I think are likely to be at every Soujiro shrine around, but I hope that here my fellow Souls in Search of Soujiro Stuff will find on my sight some fun and unique diversions. ---Don't miss my Soujiro fanfic! I've been told it's the best out there!

News, January 2005 With apologies, I must admit at this point that this site has not been updated in well over a year, and I don't know when I'll get back to it. I especially regret leaving you all hanging with the fan-fiction, which I do hope to return to and finish eventually, but I'm not prepared to do so as of now. I'm pruning my website in general so as to make the Site of Stuff now self-contained, and I'm also removing some of the kitschier features. I hope you enjoy the contents I have here, and I wish I could tell you when to expect anything more, but I can't.
